Upon arrival at Kigali airport, you will be met by your safari driver guide, who will brief you shortly and later transfer you to your booked accommodation in Kigali at The Retreat (High End) or Kigali Serena Hotel (Luxury) (BB).
After breakfast, begin your Kigali city tour, visiting key historical and cultural sites including the Kigali Genocide Memorial. Later, drive to Nyamata and Ntarama to learn about Rwanda’s tragic past. Return to Kigali for dinner and overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel (Luxury) (FB).
Enjoy breakfast and check out of your hotel. Drive to Musanze and relax at your lodge in the afternoon. In the evening, experience Rwandan culture at the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village. Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel (Luxury) or Bisate Lodge (High End) (FB).
After breakfast, transfer to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing before your gorilla trekking adventure. The trek may last 2–6 hours depending on gorilla movements. Upon locating a gorilla group, you’ll spend one magical hour with them. Return to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel or Bisate Lodge (FB).
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing and begin your golden monkey trekking experience. After lunch, drive back to Kigali. Time permitting, visit local markets and art shops for souvenirs. Dinner and overnight at The Retreat (High End) or Kigali Serena Hotel (Luxury) (FB).
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight time, transfer to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
