Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will go through customs and immigration, and you will be met by our company guide. Later, drive to your booked hotel accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
After your early morning breakfast, you will wait for your Covid test results. Later, check out of the lodge and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, which honors the memory of over one million Rwandans killed in 1994. Afterward, proceed with a scenic drive to Musanze and check into your booked accommodation for a late lunch. Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing or visit the Dian Fossey Institute if time permits. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Enjoy an early morning cup of coffee, then proceed for a briefing from park officials. Enter the jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas and observe them in their natural habitat. After the encounter, you will have one hour to photograph and interact with the gorillas. In the afternoon, visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Center to experience Rwanda's rich culture. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters and then head to Buhanga Eco Park for a nature walk. Later, return for lunch before enjoying a canoe ride on the twin lakes. Also, visit the Dian Fossey Institute to learn about her conservation efforts. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Gisenyi and take a two-hour boat ride on Lake Kivu, exploring its scenic beauty. Proceed to Kinunu for an authentic Rwandan coffee experience, then return to the lodge for lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure or visit Atelier de Poupee. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Enjoy breakfast, then transfer to Nyungwe Forest via Kibuye along the scenic Congo Nile Trail. After arriving, check into your lodge for lunch. Later, experience a thrilling canopy walk in the forest before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, head to the park for chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest. You will spend one hour observing the chimpanzees. After lunch, drive back to Kigali, stopping to visit the King’s Palace Royal Museum en route. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast or depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your onward flight.
